Story
I'm taking part in the 2017 Melbourne Marathon Festival and hoping to raise funds for Leukodystrophy Australia
You'll know that I'm not a sporty person, but I'm slipping into my sneakers this October hoping to make a meaningful impact for Leukodystrophy sufferers. A leukodystrophy ( a leuko what? Say it slowly: loo-koe-diss-truffy) is a genetic condition that messes up the white matter of your brain and spinal cord, and interferes with your nervous system.
It costs less money to send a child to a top Melbourne school for a year than it does to look after a child with a leukodystrophy for the same length of time.
If the sponsor amount goes over $500..... I'll do it in heels.

We assist individuals and families whose precious and loved one/s have a life limiting genetic Neurological illness imposing great emotional, financial and physical stress on everyone.
