Story
Dear Family & Friends,
I recently registered for theMelbourne Marathon and have decided to do a bit of fundraising along the way, while I complete my training.
Like most people, I have gone through some shitty times, dealing with anxiety and depression at varying stages in life. I am fundraising for
Beyond Blue because I have often felt ashamed in the past to talk about my mental health to others and I want to help rid that stigma
because it is ok to speak up if you aren’t doing well. I hope that over the next 15 weeks I can raise some money to put towards a good
cause and help those that are currently battling their own demons.
Thank you for your support,
Jake.
