As we all look forward to the challenges and excitement of a massive summer of cricket, I thought it is also a good time to consider the challenges some people have every night finding a warm, safe place to sleep and something to eat. As many of you would be aware, GC is leading the charge with the newly formed Chappell Foundation to raise some funds to help young people in this situation.
I'm taking part in the 2017 Melbourne Marathon Festival and hoping to raise much needed funds for charity.
This October, I’m going to be sweating it out and doing my best to complete a 10km gruelling course for me) through the streets of Melbourne and ending back at the world famous 'G!
I am honoured to be a part of this amazing race and helping a great cause, and I’d really appreciate your support in this endeavour.

Tonight, tens of thousands of young Australians will sleep without a roof over their heads. The Chappell Foundation aims to raise funds for frontline organisations who are working to provide refuge, nourishment and a better future for homeless youth.? Our country will not be a safe place until we make youth homelessness a thing of the past.
